St. Michael's provides a food pantry with non-perishable goods for anyone who needs it. As part of our Sunday "offering" the people of St. Michael's often bring these goods as part of their offering to God. We have baskets near the doors of the church and some of the people of St. Michael's bring a bag of non-perishable groceries every time they come to worship. We also have budgeted a part of our outreach money to keep the food pantry stocked.

St. Michael's food pantry is open to anyone in East Texas who finds their family in need. We will supply any family or individual with one week of these food staples. They are welcome to come back each week until their situation improves. If you or your family finds yourself in need of food, please call the church office to make sure someone is there to help you get your free groceries.

We believe that feeding the hungry is a basic part of serving God. We see it as one of the many ways that we are Sharing God's Love.
